Only INA members can be considered for this honor. The nanny of the year (NOTY) is selected annually and is announced during the annual conference. A special luncheon is held in the NOTY’s honor. - Nanny Credential Exam—Member Discount. A multiple choice exam developed by INA in consultation with child care educators to support our commitment to professionalizing the in-home child care industry. The exam was designed to test a candidate’s working knowledge of children’s developmental needs and how to meet those needs in an in-home environment.
