The International Nanny Association Goes
"Beyond Peanut Butter and Jelly"
The
International Nanny Association (INA) is proud to announce the publication
of "Beyond Peanut Butter and Jelly." Hot off the press, "Beyond Peanut
Butter and Jelly" is a collection of recipes, tips and ideas from
members and friends of the International Nanny Association.
Sandwiched inside a hard back cover, the reader will find 190 pages
with chapters on kids cooking, crafts, creative holiday parties, and a
unique chapter on birthday theme parties. The cover is "grape jelly" with "peanut butter" handprints
splashed with colorful artwork and "stick children." The inside colors of black and white create a chalk like effect
throughout the book. The
artwork was done by nanny and INA President Becky Kavanagh.
The book is a means of showing the meritorious side of the in-home child care industry. It features the INA's Recommended Practices for Nannies and Recommended Practices for Nanny Placement Agencies. Also included is the Recommended Competencies for the Education of Nannies. When joining INA, members agree to abide by these established practices. The International Nanny Association is a non-profit educational organization for nannies and those who educate, place, employ and support professional in-home child care providers.
