This was my first INA Conference and I really enjoyed myself. The workshops were helpful and everyone was welcoming. I was also able to meet new people who are as passionate about taking care of kids as I am. I learned a lot about what it takes to be a nanny and how important our job really is. I look forward to the next INA Conference in 2006. --Jessica Russo

I am a new INA member and a first time INA Conference Attendee. The INA Conference was a wonderful event! I learned a lot about the nanny industry and met many helpful and kind people. Thank you to the organizers and the speakers for donating their time, expertise and knowledge. -- Aloha, Rebekah Morrow

This was my first year attending the INA Conference, and I very much enjoyed the event. Two-years-ago I purchased a 10-year-old placement agency. Even though the business is well established and respected in our community, and I am not completely new to this industry, I still learned so much by attending the INA Conference. Everything I gained at the conference holds great value. From the networking opportunities, to the seminars, to the friendships established with colleagues, this conference provides a top notch experience for anyone in the industry. Thanks so much! --Whitley Adkins Private Placements, Inc.

Special thanks to Stephanie Breedlove of Breedlove and Associates, for paying the travel and lodging expenses of Nanny Deb and Nanny Stella, from Fox’ “Nanny 911.”
Special thanks to Deborah Smith of Parents with Nannies and 4EverythingNanny.com for her generous contribution to the printing of the INA Nanny of the Year Commemorative Booklets. Special thanks to Bob Dougher, Essentia Software, for sponsoring the welcome bags. Our apologies if we have forgotten anyone. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

Surprise Letter

Michelle’s
Surprise Letter

Michelle LaRowe, 2004 Nanny of the Year, was surprised and moved when INA President, Pat Cascio, read a letter of accommodation sent to her from President George W. Bush. The letter follows:

The White House
Washington
April 1, 2005

I send greetings to those celebrating the 20th anniversary of the International Nanny Association. Congratulations to
Michelle LaRowe on being named the 2004 Nanny of the Year.
Children are a precious gift and a source of great hope for our country. We must nurture their personal development
and provide a safe and supportive environment where they can learn and grow. The love and support of nannies strengthen families and help raise healthy, responsible children.
I appreciate the compassion and generosity of nannies and all those committed to improving the lives of our children. Your efforts contribute to a brighter future. Laura and I send our best wishes.

George W. Bush (signature)

Special Thanks for help with this year’s conference.
