2014 Conference Guides

INA Members Available to Answer Questions

Is this your first time attending INA’s annual conference?

INA would like to help you maximize your 2014 INA conference experience.  One of the ways we are doing this is by forming an INA Facebook group (search “2014 INA Conference” on Facbook) to encourage discussion and community before we arrive in Los Angeles.  In addition, once you do arrive, we encourage you to attend the Conference Orientation, which is held Thursday night before the Opening Reception.  We also offer a Conference Guide program.

Conference Guides

We have asked a group of nannies, agency owners and newborn care specialists who have attended several past INA conferences to be our “2014 Conference Guides.”  Each of the guides selected is familiar with INA andcan assist you in finding answers to conference questions.  To sign up forthis service please contact Marcia Hall at INANOTY2011@hotmail.com.  Please provide her with the following: your full name, email address, phone number and the way in which you identify yourself (nanny, NCS, agency or business owner).  The guide that is paired with you will contact you via email or phone, after you sign up.

Group Dinner Outings

When the Opening reception has ended and the workshops are over on Friday, some attendees find themselves wondering what they will do for dinner. For this reason we will be organizing groups of interested attendees to go out for dinner together on Thursday and Friday nights. The Conference Guides and a local INA member will be escorting groups of around 10 to a restaurant and helping to coordinate transportation. This is a great way to network with other INA members and meet new people.

Please find the restaurants listed below along with the host for the evening, restaurant link, price point and means of transportation.

We are accepting reservations for these meals before conference by emailing  Marcia Hall

You will also have the chance to sign up at conference by finding Marcia at the orientation, welcome reception or network breaks. However, we have only 10 spaces for each restaurant and they may fill up fast. It is also worth noting that not all the restaurants will accommodate separate checks so to make paying easier, attendee’s are encouraged to bring cash.
