Since 1984, the International Nanny Association, (INA) a non-profit educational association dedicated to improving the quality of in-home childcare industry, has held an annual conference designed to increase the skills of those who faithfully serve more than 1.3 million of our nation’s families. Our association is primarily made up of nannies and those who employ, place and educate nannies. Our members gather from across the globe to learn and network with like minded individuals, all of whom share the common goal of providing the highest level of child care. INA workshops are typically 75 minutes in length and are presented to a group of 25-75 plus attendees. General Session workshops address the entire audience of conference attendees, usually 150 – 200 in total. For 2015 we are looking to expand our workshop times to around 120 minutes, allowing for more intensive workshops. Our annual conference is made up of three workshop break-out tracks (Agency/Business, Nanny and Newborn Care Specialist). We welcome proposals for the individual break-out tracks as well as General Session proposals to our conference audience as a whole.
INA is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization and strives to keep conference expenses contained. As a result workshop presenters often donate their time to the organization by sharing their expertise as a pro-bono gift, including their travel expenses. If you feel that you are not able to provide your workshop as a gift to INA, but you believe your topic is one that will enhance our conference attendees knowledge please contact Kellie Geres INA’s Conference Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then be put you in touch with the appropriate program chairperson to discuss compensation.
You can submit the electronic form anytime but it must be received no later than September 15, 2014. If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified by November 1, 2014. You will then receive information regarding further steps you need to take in order to secure your workshop for our 30th Annual Conference in Cancun Mexico. If you have any questions before November 1, 2014 please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to receiving your workshop proposal.
